Al-Qibli Chapel

Al-Qibli Chapel ((アラビア語:المصلى القبلي) ''al-Musalla al-Qibli''); also known as al-Jami' al-Qibli, is a Muslim prayer house with a silver lead dome located in the southern part of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It was built by the Rashidun caliph Umar ibn Al-Khattab in 637 CE. Al-Aqsa Mosque as a whole is widely confused with this chapel; particularly in the Western world.
While Al-Aqsa Mosque is actually the entire area of the sanctuary, in modern times the name has been mistakenly used to refer to just the silver domed building.()
Al Aqsa name is used to describe the whole area surrounded by the wall at the southern-eastern end of walled old Jerusalem. The place encompasses more than 200 buildings, domes, schools, wells, etc. Then it is not only the mosque with the golden dome, the Dome of the Rock, nor the mosque with lead dome, Al Masjid Al Qibli. Both of them are part of the walled Al Aqsa mosque.()
